Ben has Joy and it shows!

Ben Rector is a phenomenal performer. His song writing ability is formidable because he relates so well to everyday experience. This ability to relate carries over to Ben’s interactions with his audience. He plays in more intimate venues and takes complete advantage of this by getting out there with the crowd and mixing conversation into his set list. He really looks like he is having the time of his life and lives up to his newest album’s title and its titular track. As part of the opening act, he also gives some of his band members a chance to perform solo for the crowd and build their own solo artist experience. That’s a humble gesture and speaks to Ben’s love of music and performance. We traveled over 700 miles to see Ben play and we would travel double that to see him again.
